Isola di Cocco Ayurvedic Beach Resort

The approach to the hotel down a long unmade bumpy rod filled us with trepidation but what a delightful surprise awaited us. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and the rooms are enlarge and well equipped. The outside bathroom my not be everyone’s favourite but it was fine, very private. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The large pool was well kept and there was always a plentiful supply of towels. The food was varied and tasty. They made the best dosa I had during our 2 weeks in Kerala.

We had warm welcome at reception, our room was ready & as per request ground floor. Room was clean with essential required. Staff was helpful & guided us properly. Restaurants is having good staff & good service with smiling face. Morning breakfast excellent. We ask for ala carta for dinner , quantity of food was sufficient according to charges & good test. Location excellent with back water behind hotel. Boating fascilty was there & reasonable price . My recommendation is do not try to go to private boaters & only hire hotel boat. Overall our stay for two days was excellent

I cannot praise this resort enough. Nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Massage was amazing. The reception staff were extremely helpful and ensured we had a great stay. The waiters in the restaurant helped me with the menu and asked chef to cook me slightly altered dishes. The whole stay was lovely, can highly recommend.

Had a wonderful and excellent holiday in this resort.The resort is nestled amongst vibrant greenery and was surrounded by backwaters which created a secluded and peaceful atmosphere. The resort was well preserved and had a charm of its own.Had ayurveda hospital also inside the resort premises convenient for people to access ayurveda treatment. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful making our stay memorable. Special mention to the front office team of Boban,Lilith and Ratheesh, Rohit,Prashant,Hajira,Rahul,Gokul of f &b,and the awesome Saro of housekeeping.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our Southern India tour and to be honest we expected better Do not come here if you are expecting a beach resort as it is not on the beach,you can see the beach from the hotel but it is only accessible by boat across the waterway,we went once and regretted it straight away as it is covered in rubbish and plastic bottles,photos attached,we stayed for 10 mins and then caught the boat back to the hotel (£1 per person) Most of the staff were pleasant enough but some seemed to be just going though the motion,this seemed evident at meal times. The "bar" is an old rusty chest freezer (pics attached) and the seating area is a joke, the bar only serves wine and beer and out of the 5 white wines on the menu only one was available. The only saving grace for this hotel are the grounds and gardens which are immaculate and teaming with wildlife I defiantly would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Lovely location!! However the resort needs major improvement in infrastructure. The hotel rooms are ancient but clean. Utilities functions are a problem, I.e. TVs don't work, lights don't work, etc Most staff are welcoming However some are very rude, in our case a specific Pool boy called Mohan, even told me off using the F word. Managers took no action and this kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable to anyone. Would I come here again....NO!!
